Two weeks down...too many to go!
Well... I am officially a college girl. CSUF is my new home away from home. My classes have too much reading attached to them...but oh well, its nothing I can't handle. My room's tiny (shown in the picture), but the bed is killing me, I need my space to spread out!! I sleep enough though. I love being back down in So Cal, there's lots of stuff to do here ie. we've been to the beach, the swap meet (I know my mom's jealous), and lots of shopping. And the best part of being down here is that it only reaches about 85 at the highest for the days temperature. Its wonderful to wear jeans during the day. I miss Chico, but I'll be home soon. One of the top highlights so far was seeing the A's play the Angels on Wednesday. Although the A's lost, it was a great game. Talk to you all soon!

Really proud of ya,
I know it is hard being away, but the chance to be out on your own is a super opportunity. You have tons going for you babe, including your ability to work hard and make things happen for yourself.
Remember that God is there for you, and that He both loves you and provides both strength and courage to keep going, even when you are feeling down, or not sure if you can make it. Remember your live verse.

I hope you can make it home for a football game. CHS will be playing in November I am sure!! Dont schedule anything for Nov 23 because we will be at a football game!
