Disneyland

I was fortunate enough to have my friend, Robin Crawford, sign me in to Disneyland to help celebrate her birthday! A group of about 12 of us went and had a great time, here are the highlights. Photos thanks to David Monroy.









































It was my first time to California Adventure and I survived the Tower of Terror! It was a wonderful way to celebrate her birthday!

Go Taylor!!

Well on Saturday February 16th my cousin Taylor was in Pomona, California to play basketball with Chico State. Little did she know that Pomona is a mere 15 miles from Fullerton! So along with Jeff and my good friends Emma, Darren and Mitchell we made the trek (yea right) to Pomona and surprised her at her game. She played great, and logged the most minutes she has had all season. Afterward we were able to hang out with her for a little while.



After the game, my mom treated to the biggest Pazookie ever!!! One third chocolate chip, one third oreo, and one third peanut butter cookies with a mound of ice cream on top is how it started, and this is how it ended up:



Overall a wonderful night.

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone! I know its a little late but what can you do? Here are some picture of the roses Jeff gave me and a picture of us before we headed out. We had a nice dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and then headed to the CSUF basketball game.

Christmas 2007...Here Comes 2008

Well Christmas 2007 has come and gone, and I am now almost a week into 2008. And Oh what a week its been. First and foremost, I had a great Christmas at home with family. We were able to share our Christmas morning with my brother and new sister-in-law. Then we had dinner and enjoyed an evening of games with some of my extended family on my mom's side. I've included some pictures of us having a good time at the end of my blog. This is actually my first time on the internet in 28 hours. After having a large storm hit Chico, we went without power for 28 hours. Yes, we barbequed hot dogs, played games by candlelight and slept in the pitch black. Unfortunately, this meant I was unable to get my wisdom teeth out as my appointment was scheduled just two hours after our power went out initially. Oh, well I guess I will just have to ruin a different vacation with that experience.

Well after around five years of dating, my brother and his girlfriend finally tied the knot and headed off to Costa Rica for their honeymoon. It was a GORGEOUS Sunday afternoon on November 4, 2007 when they walked down the aisle and said their vows. Much of our family was there as the bride and groom grinned their way through the ceremony. It was a whirlwind weekend as I flew in on Thursday afternoon and left on Monday morning...arriving as one of three...and leaving as one of four. I have some pictures now, and more to come.

Back in Fullerton

Back at school, back on track. Since August 2nd I've been back in Fullerton, and I just finished my third week of classes. Things are going well, I like most of my classes, which is pretty much all that you can ask for. And my roommate situation is the best I could ask for. Highlights so far have been the Sawdust Festival, barbeque at Trish's, hanging out with roommates, seeing 'Knocked Up' on campus, the beach, Darren and Charlie's birthday party, and soccer games.
